OUR TEAM

I am a qualified Science and Chemistry teacher with over 20 years of experience of teaching year 7-13 within the schools and as a self-employed tutor. I have an honours degree in chemistry and post graduate diplomas in environmental protection and radiation protection.

My fundamental ethos is that every child matters and I endeavour to provide a fun filled and enriched science and maths curriculum with high but achievable expectations for all.

Whilst working as a science teacher within schools, my additional endeavours included: a successful intervention programme for borderline grade C/4 GCSE students, running an Eco schools group, championing improving scientific writing and science clubs. In addition to this, I have worked within the university environment providing study skills and support to SEND students. I have also worked with Primary schools doing: secondary liaison, science weeks and clubs.

I currently tutor maths and science, predominatly at GCSE level on a: 1-1, 2-1 and small group basis within my own home. I also support SEN students within their own home and work with local schools.

I have a full DBS check and safeguarding qualifications.
